Sherlock and his team dig the grave of Lord Blackswood and looked in his coffin. To their surprise, a different body was encased inside the coffin. This made them conclude that Lord Blackswood is still out in London. Now, the team must work hard to capture lord Blackswood before he can plot his next master plan.

Sherlock 2.1 “‘A Scandal in Belgravia” Review

This was the premiere episode of season two and it was worth all the hype that had followed it. The episode was titled ‘A Scandal in Belgravia’. The dialogue was tight and it is a show that the fan would want to pay attention to detail because the show is all about details and tiny nuances that would turn out to mean a lot as the events progressed.

The episode was filled with twists and turns that would keep the viewer entirely focused on the story as it developed. The issue could get complicated to some or just hard to make sense of like when Moriaty he was just about to kill Sherlock and changed his mind because of a phone call that some fans are still trying to make sense of.

The phone call was from Irene Adler and it had to do with an email that she could not decrypt. So what she told Moriaty was that Sherlock was needed to decipher the code. Funny enough, it was apparent that she did not even know that he was in danger so it was just sheer coincidence that she was calling the person that was going to pull the trigger that they needed the expertise of the person he wanted to kill.

But everything she did was an elaborate set up to show the British government that they would have to play ball with her as she used him to show that she was the only person that could do it as well as using the airline to prove the implication of what she has with her. It was really simple if you look at it. Sherlock’s failure to decipher the email meant she was the only that could and using it on the airliner gave them an idea of what it could do.

So Sherlock was saved by the whiskers and the only thing an eyebrow can be raised over was the coincidence. Sherlock on his part has more in him than he gives out especially with the way he regards other. He cares for people more than he lets on although there are times he is so lost in himself that he does not notice anyone around.
